During my break, I didn't do much other than find more places around the city to visit or just go walk around and take lots of pictures. I also visited the Blue Mountains with a group of friends it was pretty AWESOME. We stayed at a house that we rented for the day. As soon as we arrived we noticed there was rained and there was a lot of fog around the area. This didn't stop us from walking some of the paths and see beautiful falls.
After a good time of walking, we decide to head back to start setting up for the barbecue aka barbie. The food was really good and we had an awesome time there. I have to say it was freaking freezing in there to the point that I slept with leggings, my pj's and a sweatshirt oh let's not forget the heating blanket ! Besides the cold, it was a great trip the next day we did some more walking and got to see the main attraction in the blue mountains the Three Sisters.
After this lil trip to the mountains, I barely did anything other than eat, catch up with some of my favorite shows. I visited the city more and walk around finding new places to eat or just to hang and take cool pictures.
I decided one day before the break finished to go to the beach so thats what I did. I got to the city and then took the ferry to Manly and walked to the beach. As I imagine the beach was totally full because 1. There was a jazz festival going on, 2. It was a sunday and there was beautiful out. It's time I fill you up with the sunday thing here. So on sunday's public transport is only 2.50 the whole day so I only paid my train ride for 2.50 and every other public transport I take on that day like buses or ferry with the Opal card system is basically free. That's why it's awesome and awful at the same time to travel to beaches on sunday.
I was getting quite bored and the remember I had seen there was this other beach I wanted to visit near manly. I decided it would be good to go and check it out. I got on the bus and followed my maps route to there.
As I got there i realized this beach was very pretty and it looked very local to me, which made it very nice. After a while of being there I decided it was time to head back to the wharf to take the ferry. This is where all the problem begins ! I had to wait for around 40 min for a bus to get me near the wharf because the bus schedules were messed up thanks to the festival. As soon as i get to the wharf I realized there was a big line like big as going out of the wharf in like big crowds. I kinda cut the line by walking around the crowd to one store inside the wharf and just staying in the line afterwards. As we were able to tap on I walked to where the doors for the ferry were to be able to get a seat. When the doors opened everyone went all psycho and started pushing. It was so scary because we weren't even able to walk. At the end I got to seat and just chill on the 30 min ride back to Circular Quay.
Most of the times when I've been to the city I never get to stay late enought to see the Opera House lighted up but that day I did and it was so amazing !
I hope you stay tune for the next post
Bye felcia ;)
